Driffield

Driffield Methodist exists to be a Christian witness in the town of Driffield. Having completed our extensive upgrade of the C19th Schoolroom we now occupy the new, fully sustainable Church.

Regular events
Church Services. The Driffield-Hornsea Circuit is holding services each Sunday in its Churches.
These, and other activities, may still be subject to such precautions as the trustees decide, to ensure that users, particularly those who are vulnerable to the Covid19 virus, are safe.
Also provided for those without internet is a print of an act of worship prepared each week by the Methodist Church of Great Britain, Ministries: Vocations and Worship.
There are Morning Prayers on the Facebook page, Driffield Methodist Church, at 9:00 am Monday to Friday only.
Toastie Tots each Monday 9 am to 10 am. School term time only. Babies, Tots , Parents and Carers are invited to come and share in Fun, Chats, Laughter, Singing and Tea and Toast.
Tuesday Fellowship meets each Tuesday in the Church from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Everyone welcome.
Worship on Wednesdays takes place each week at 10:30 am, half an hour worship followed by refreshments and fellowship.
Meet friends at Coffee and Conversation. Each Saturday morning in the Church from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
Unwanted brassieres are collected in a labelled bin in the Church building. These are donated to The Yorkshire Air Ambulance to raise funds for their valuable work.
Used postage stamps (trimmed with a 1 cm border please) are collected and sent to Kidney Care UK.
'Banner Brigade' are producing many textile items to enhance the church, like the Easter butterflies.
The church is also becoming "home" to several organisations like the Male Voice Choir , the Buckrose brass band, Driffield Musical Theatre, Trefoil, Women's Institute, Slimming World and a long standing, well respected Playgroup.
