The Wolds

We are an ecumenically minded group and work to be a Christian presence in the villages of Bainton and Middleton. We are friendly, caring Christians and any newcomers will find a warm welcome here. Tea and biscuits are served after the service. We join in village activities and the Church is used by a number of organisations.

Regular events
Prayer and Praise on Monday evenings at 7:30pm
Two coffee mornings per month:
3rd Wednesday at The Wolds
3rd Saturday at Middleton Reading rooms

We adhere to Methodist Safeguarding guidelines
Leaders have DBS certificates
We support a range of charities
We choose a charity to support for 3 months, these include RNLI, Guide Dogs for the Blind. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, MIND, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Dove House Hospice, Emmaus, Jacob`s Well, Driffield Food Bank, Alzheimer's.
Together with Middleton Church we run an annual quiz with a share going to charity.
Our annual give to charity can be up to £1,200

Amplification can be arranged, but we have a small worship area
The worship area is well heated and guaranteed to be warm
A toilet is available
Car parking is available on a grassed area opposite the Church
Occasional 'Bring and Share' lunches

For those who need extra help
Visually impaired people and guide dogs are welcomed
We have large print versions of both our hymn books
Wheelchair access, ramp, and handrail to front entrance
