The Methodist Advanced Safeguarding Training Module is to be facilitated at Driffield Methodist Church on 5th May 2020 by our District Safeguarding Team. This training is from 10am until 3.30pm with a lovely lunch and refreshments served all day.
You will have had to complete the Foundation Module (within the last 3 years) before you apply for or undertake this training . The Methodist Church indicates that the following people complete the Advanced Course:

Circuit Stewards
Church Stewards
Children and Young People workers
Our Safeguarding Reps in each of our circuit chapels
Local Preachers
and/or anyone else who feels they would benefit from this training. I am aware of our circuit folk who have completed this course already, me included.

Places are limited to a 'first come first served' basis, so apply as soon as possible for your place on the course by contacting the District Office — or Sian Henderson 07809 431871. If you cannot attend on 5th May, there are other dates and venues available — just ask Sian.

Please network this information to whoever it applies in your Church. Thank you.
