An Extraordinary Call
Women were at the heart of the evangelical revival that gave birth to the Methodist Church. It's Susanna Wesley's anniversary year and the Wesley Historical Society have organised a two-day conference about the role of the woman preacher in Methodism from the beginnings to the present day. Attendance at the conference is free, but that does not include accommodation and food. Speakers including Michaela Youngson and Jill Barber. It's in Oxford, 8th-9th November.
