Holiday Club

The sun was out but with some rain, the sky was blue but with some grey, Seaside Rock was really for us!
Once again we had a great Holiday Club with 30 children registering to attend. We have learnt about chocolate, with tasting and making! We have flown parrots and sugar gliders with the pirates. We have made various balloon models and burst them; and we have had some awesome magic!
The Wise and Foolish men have made us laugh with their antics and we have sung songs to the guitar and banjo. We have had sandcastle competitions, and tug of war in the sand. The crafts were various, with clay sea creatures; laminated placemats; sun catchers; pirate ships; treasure chests; keyrings; gliders; the list goes on. And to keep us on course the weather girl gave us an update each day on the weather (together with water pistol!)
The Holiday Club cost £855 this year and to make this possible a huge thank you goes to the Beeford Parish Council for their generous donation of £250, also thanks to Horace Taylor Trust Fund and to the parents for their generous donations.
And of course without the help of the voluntary 'staff' it couldn't happen, so thank you to everyone of them. Hazel (coordinator)
