The Methodist Conference, that met recently in Birmingham, discussed a range of issues from climate change to housing and homelessness. Among items considered were reports on marriage and relationships, the theology of the diaconate and Methodism's 'Our Calling'. As always, presbyters and deacons were received into full connexion and ordained ... and the Conference elected the soon-to-be Superintendent of the Driffield-Hornsea Circuit as it's next President.
