Safeguarding - Train the Trainers

Home » News » Safeguarding - Train the Trainers

The updated Foundation Safeguarding Module was ready in February, but due to lockdown measures, we were unable to deliver any of the update sessions to Foundation Module trainers.

Due to the current circumstances, we are aiming to deliver update sessions via Zoom to existing Foundation Module trainers. This will hopefully familiarise them with the new Foundation Module material so that they are able to deliver this training in the Circuits as soon as it is safe enough to do so. We will be making other arrangements for those people who are wishing to become new trainers.

In order to participate in one of the Zoom training sessions, please book on a course by emailing our District Administrator, Sian Henderson at You will need to provide Sian with your
email address so that we can send you further details and a Zoom link nearer the time; as well as your address so that we can post you materials in advance of the Zoom session.

9th September 10am till 12.30pm
11th September 1.30pm till 4pm
16th September 7pm till 9.30pm

If you cannot make one of the above dates, other dates are available in both
Sheffield and Yorkshire West Districts, please contact a District Administrator or
District Safeguarding Officer for further details.
