Hello. I am Ann Bradshaw, and I am a Circuit Steward.
I am the Driffield Methodist Church Treasurer, which is very exciting during our million pound (and a bit) rebuild project. I am the Secretary of Driffield Talking Newspaper, and Handicrafts Secretary of the Driffield Show (reputedly the largest single day agricultural show in the North of England, with around 5 thousand entries in the Handicrafts section alone.) I am also on the Committee for the Driffield Support Group for Saint Catherine's, an outstanding hospice in Scarborough. Every two months the Driffield Leader (a Methodist magazine of local articles) is produced by an editorial team of which I am part, and this is delivered by more than 100 volunteers to every house in Driffield. With hundreds of new houses being constructed at the moment, we will be increasing our print run from 6,500 shortly! On Tuesday mornings I am part of a local group taking Open the Book into 3 local village schools every week during term time — this is a wonderful way to tell and act the Bible stories to Primary age children, who enjoy it so much.
In and amongst, I have 2 sons, 2 stepdaughters and 2 grandchildren.
